A quick guide to how we keep Request A Whippy a safe place for customers and vendors.
Verified vendors
Vendors go through a verification process before they can accept live requests. We check business details and review uploaded licence and insurance documents.
Licence and insurance checks
Vendors upload their food hygiene certificate, public liability insurance, and council trading permissions. Documents have expiry dates and are re-reviewed by our admin team.
Customer location protection
- Before a vendor accepts: only a rough area or distance is shown.
- After a vendor accepts: the full address is shared with that vendor only.
- Other vendors never see your full address.
Ratings
Customers can rate vendors after a request. Ratings help other customers choose and help us spot quality issues.
Reporting issues
Customers can report no-shows, late vendors, or service problems. Vendors can report fake requests, unsafe locations, or wrong addresses. Reports go to our admin team for review.
Admin moderation
We can suspend accounts that misuse the platform or breach our terms.
18+ rule
Request A Whippy is for users aged 18 and over. You must confirm this before creating a request.
